Heading to ADX Sydney? 9 smart tips to make the most of it

ADX Sydney is one of the biggest events on the dental calendar — packed with new technology, industry insights and opportunities to connect with peers.

But with so much happening, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or leave feeling like you didn’t quite make the most of it.

Whether it’s your first time attending or you’re a seasoned delegate, a little preparation can go a long way. Here are nine smart tips to help you get the most out of your ADX Sydney experience.

1. Go in with a plan

Before you arrive, take a look at the exhibitor list, floor plan and any sessions you’d like to attend. Identify a few key stands or suppliers you want to prioritise, it’s easy to get sidetracked.

2. Set a clear intention

Ask yourself: what do I want to get out of ADX this year?
It could be exploring new equipment, finding a supplier, learning about practice growth, or simply networking.

3. Wear comfortable shoes (trust us!)

You’ll be on your feet more than you think. Comfortable shoes will make a big difference to your energy levels.

4. Take notes as you go

You’ll likely speak to multiple suppliers and see a lot of new products. Jot down quick notes or take photos so you can remember key details later.

5. Don’t be afraid to ask questions

Exhibitors are there to help — so take advantage of the opportunity. Ask about pricing, implementation, support and how their solutions apply to your practice.

6. Make time to connect

Some of the most valuable moments happen between the stands — chatting with peers, sharing experiences and learning from others in the industry.

7. Pace yourself

It’s tempting to try and see everything in one go. Build in short breaks, grab a coffee and give yourself time to recharge so you can stay sharp throughout the day.

8. Plan your follow-ups

After the event, set aside time to review what you’ve learned, revisit contacts and take the next steps. That’s where the real value of ADX comes to life.

9. Stop by Grow Community (and update your headshot)

While you’re making your way around ADX, be sure to visit the Grow Community stand (#295). We’ll be offering FREE* professional headshots — perfect for refreshing your LinkedIn profile, website bio or team page.

Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also pre-book your spot to skip the queue on the day.

Come say hello, meet the team, and walk away with something you’ll actually use long after the event ends.
